Is 16 too old to start learning martial arts?
im 16 and ever since i was little i've wanted to learn how to fight like jackie chan and bruce lee but got involved in music. i think there are a few places that teach where i live but i don't want to be a beginner whose 16 with a bunch of 5 year olds. am i too old to start learning or is it an okay age to start?

I want to learn how to use many of the martial arts weapon. I want to be able to use them correctly and effectively not that i want to hurt anyone. But more for the art i guess I just dont know where to start. Help?
Can you learn martial arts solo?
I was just wondering if there were ways to train yourself martial arts and self defense without taking classes or without the assistance of anyone else. Because I do not have the money for classes nor friends who would be interested in training and that also sounds dangerous. I really want to learn to atleast defend myself. I watch video's but that's all i have. Are there any other ways to help improve on somehow improving your skills of reflexes, blocking, etc...?
Can you learn martial arts from a book ?
I practiced karate for like 2 years and now i was wondering if i could learn a martial art from a book. I know there's now one to correct me and everything but is it still possible with the experience I had ?
Is it possible to learn martial arts from a computer?
i have previous martial arts training from a real dojang were i live.i usually go on there simply to learn moves we were never taught in class yet.and i have found i could smoothly perform a tornado kick off the computer before we even we taught the move.its not like i was doubting my masters teaching i just wanted to learn is all.im not saying u could master a martial art soley with books,dvds,online training u at least had to have someone teach u.say for workouts like streches,and drills are u saying i cant learn that.im not saying my school sucked either its just im fourteen but im small but the sesei who couldnt teach us cause he was 70 yearold korean with back problems from his previous hard training in his years as we could see.which i think was trained directly from general choi.anyway thats not the point could someone who had previous martial arts training learn from the computer if they studied in thourouly and look through history on websites instead of looking up random moves that they have no idea when to use there left or rite footand pull a joint

ok I really dont know what i can do on my spare time which i dont have alot of but i am really interested in martial art but i dont like hitting or hurting peoplei just want to learn something that can help be not get hit.
