How long would it usually take to get good at mixed martial arts?
Which do u prefer? taekondow or mixed martial arts?
i can't decide on what to take as a martial arts class. I have a choose between taekondow or mix martial arts they both sound really cool but i can't decide. i know that taekondow is more defensive and requires more skill, and mixed martial arts is in between offense then defense and requires a lot of skill too. i'm leaning toward taekondow because it teachs alot of things and not just kicking and punching like mixed martial arts

Can someone give me training tips for mixed martial arts? What are the classes like?
I'm thinking of the simple training programmes that give a list of exactly what to do and for how long, for example skipping for 10 mins, 20 clap press ups, 100 crunches on the BOSU, 3 mins jabs on the punch bag, then x number of chin ups, 3 mins low kicks etc. Want something to boost my cardio, strength and speed ideally so not sure if its ideal to do all three in a single training session. Something that I can build up and see improvements on over time would be best. Plus I am also interested in joining a muay thai class, but I'm scared that if I go in the beginners I will be the oldest one there mid 20's and although I dont mind getting my ass kicked a bit I dont want to get teeth knocked out or break any bones in my hands as it means I can work.thats supposed to say cant work
